  High-tech metal alloys used in forming the rivets used on the ark include titanium, magnesium, aluminum and others which are not found in nature. "Aluminum never occurs in the metallic form in nature" - Britannica. The combination of these three metals is evidence of a man-made high tech alloy.
  5,200 years ago there is no evidence that humans could produce aluminum and titanium. However, a space-mobile alien species could.
  
  The Ark rivet results show 8.35 % iron, 8.35% aluminum, and 1.59% titanium.
  The specimen is fossilized and silica replaces much of original metal.

  A second specimen also has aluminum metal in it! It contains 8.08 percent aluminum, 8.24 % iron, 1.34 % titanium, and 3.82 % magnesium.

  Noah's Ark Conclusions - The Ballast - Pre flood "Slag".
  The ballast found in the bottom of the ark contains metal manganese residue (80 % manganese, 1 % titanium, 5 % aluminum).
  GENESIS - Part 1
  The Anomalies
  The anomalies found at Mt. Ararat regarding rock/metal objects were subject to the study of the manganese content. 50% is considered the highest percentage to be found in sea nodules, as well as in land ores. Higher concentrations are only available by electrolysis. The average concentration is considered to be around 25% - 35%. All these are far below the concentrations found in the Ark nodules. Also, the sea nodules contain traces of cobalt and nickel, yet these impurities are not present in the rock specimens. Further, there is the size of the nodules to be considered. The sea nodules average about 4 centimetres while the Ark (Temple) nodules are 25 centimetres (and more) in diameter. These factors offer more than enough evidence to rule out the theory that these are naturally created materials.
  Hand-Wrought Iron
  Los Alamos also preformed analysis of the iron samples recovered from the Ark.(Temple). The results of seven samples varied from 60% through 91.84% FE2O3. The highest reading was obtained from an angular bracket having the appearance of wrought iron. The occurrences of limonite are of special interest as they could represent the rusted remains of metallic iron objects." The rocks were Titanium rich. The "strange material" found scattered around the Ark's (Temples) bottom section and at the site further up the mountain side, was identical to the "strange material" found at the northern end in massive amounts.
  Titanium
  One sample contained 31.44% manganese, 41.95% titanium, no iron, 11.33% silicon, and 7.19% aluminium, among other constituents apparently according to Los Alamos (National Laboratories). This one was the waste product of aluminium production. Aluminium itself is involved in a metallurgical process where it reduces other metal from its compounds, simultaneously releasing great heat. It is found abundantly in silicate compounds such as feldspar and clay from which it is reduced by electrolytic process.
  As we have also demonstrated, Temple/Pyramid utilised feldspar-silicate in granite and the granite fascias performed electrolysis, through water compression, creating "orb" strikes in their alchemy. So again re-iterates that they manufactured through electrolysis using water/hydrogen technology. As the body of "man" is also mentioned in many documents as being moulded from "clay", we then can also view the embodiment system of aluminium being formed from clay.
  Another sample revealed a 74% titanium (oxide) content. Moreover, this specimen displayed attributes showing that it was slag, or some type of molten metal alloy production.

  The data found high concentration of titanium found in metal production process that re-evolved in 1936. The sample was not only 74% titanium (oxide), but it displayed attributes indicating that it was "molten" slag, not a sedimentary deposit. Neither was it volcanic ejecta as the concentration of titanium oxide is too high.
  The presence of such high concentrations of manganese and titanium in such large samples was an anomalous discovery that the relic associated metals was made by human beings of superior intelligence. (or extraterrestrial aliens)
  UNDERSTANDING THE REMAINS OF NOAH'S ARK
  
  Manganese
  Manganese, which is found in extremely high concentrations in these ballast specimens, is used in the production of many alloys: "More than 95 percent of the manganese produced is used in the form of ferroalloys by the metal industries, chiefly for steel manufacture.... Produced without manganese, steel breaks up when hot-rolled or forged. Steels generally contain less than 1 percent manganese. Manganese steel (12-14 percent manganese) is used for very rugged service; it presents a hard, wear resistant, and self-renewing surface over a wrought unbreakable core. Manganese produced electrolytically is used mostly in steelmaking but also in the production of nonferrous alloys of copper, aluminum, magnesium and the nickel-base alloys and in the production of high purity chemicals. Practically all commercial alloys of aluminum and magnesium contain manganese to improve corrosion resistance and mechanical properties." "Encyclopaedia Brittanica, 1985 ed., vol.vi", page 563 under "manganese".
  On one analysis of the ballast material, John Baumgardner wrote: "tailings of aluminum alloid production" and signed his name and wrote "Los Alamos". This particular specimen contained 31.44% manganese, 41.95% titanium, no iron, 11.33% silicon, and 7.19% aluminum, among other constituents. This indicates that there was perhaps more than one type of alloy included in these various ballast specimens- and this one was the waste product of aluminum production:. "Aluminum-manganese alloys are popular for cooking utensils, heat exchangers, chemical equipment, storage tanks,... Adding major amounts (about 10 percent) of silicon to commercially pure aluminum yields an alloy with a relatively low melting point.... Because silicon imparts great fluidity to molten metal, this alloy is used in castings. The addition of up to 5 percent magnesium yields an alloy with good tensile strength, weldability, hardness and corrosion resistance in marine atmospheres.... Adding both silicon and magnesium to aluminum produces alloys that are easily formed, machined, welded, and finished, have good resistance to corrosion, and are of medium strength." "Ibid., vol. 1, page 644, under subject "Aluminum Products and Production"
  The ballast materials, under electron microscope, display the appearance of slag and can therefore be identified with confidence. The exact type of metal production they resulted from cannot be stated with precision. But because of the content of the specimens, which are consistent with present day processes of metal alloy production, it can be stated with confidence that these ARE slag. The large amount of manganese was expended as waste product because, although required in the production of the alloy, only a small percentage remained in the resulting product. The excess was spun off as slag, along with a small amount of the other elements used in the alloy production.
  Titanium
  The discovery of titanium in such a high concentration is of special interest. The process by which titanium could be produced as a metal has only been known since 1936. "Although the element titanium had been known since its initial discovery in 1791 by William Gregor in England, and its identification inrutile in 1795 and in ilmenite in 1797, it was not until William Justin Kroll, a German refuge in the US, invented a magnesium-reduction process in 1936 that the production of metallic titanium became feasible. The process, which Kroll gave to the US Bureau of Mines for development, remains in its original form or modifications thereof, the principle method used today for winning titanium metal from its ores." "Ibid., vol. 18, page 455, under subject heading "Titanium Products and Production".
  The advantage of titanium as a metal is its tremendous strength and light weight, which is why today it is used in medical and space age technologies. The quantitative elemental analyses of the rivet-head Ron found in 1991 revealed 8.62% aluminum, 10.38% iron, 1.33% magnesium, and 2.7% sodium, as well as 1.92% titanium. Interestingly, the process for refining titanium involves SODIUM AND MAGNESIUM and sure enough, there they both were! "The high-purity titanium tetrachloride produced is reduced to metallic titanium by reaction with magnesium or sodium. The Kroll process, which uses magnesium, and modifications that used sodium, as the reducing agents, are batch processes conducted in larger reactors." "Ibid., p. 456.
  The combined analyses of the fossilized rivet provide more than ample evidence that it was composed of an alloy which contained aluminum, iron and titanium; an alloy which would be extremely strong, lightweight and resistant to the corrosion of the sea waters. Is all of this coincidence? The ballast contains elements which are completely consistent with that of aluminum, titanium and iron alloy productions. The rivet contains elements which are consistent with a very high-tech alloy. For further evidence, "The major alloying elements that are added to titanium are aluminum, vanadium, molybdenum, manganese, iron and chromium." "Ibid." ) All three analyses of the rivet show iron, aluminum, and manganese, vanadium and chromium. Perhaps one or two of these things could be accepted as "coincidence", but the entire picture is one that cannot be denied.
  Hand-Wrought Iron
  In June of 1985, when Ron, Dave Fasold and John Baumgardner all surveyed the site with metal detectors, Dave found a specimen which John stated, on camera, displayed the appearance of wrought iron. Dave Fasold wrote about the results of John's later analyses of the iron specimens in his book, "The Ark of Noah", p. 255: "I hurriedly opened the first-class envelope labeled 'Los Alamos National Laboratory.' It contained the semiquantitative analysis of the iron samples were had recovered from the Ark. The stoichiometric results were impressive, with the seven running from 60 percent through 91.84 percent FE2O3. The highest reading was obtained from an angular bracket." The angular bracket was the specimen John had identified as having the appearance of wrought iron.
  The large iron content of the petrified timbers again verifies the fact that the flowing water which effected the petrifaction process had traveled over a large amount of iron objects before it arrived at the timber being petrified. Where did this iron come from? Certainly not the surrounding terrain which displayed an only negligible iron content. The evidence indicates that probably various alloys were produced for use in different objects, depending on what properties were required. In fact, the evidence is TOO circumstantial to be interpreted any other way except that it shows conclusive proof of metal alloys used in the ark.
  The "Manganese Nodules" Theory
  One "learned scientist", this one proclaiming to be a Christian, rejects all the evidences found at the site. Why? Because after he was made aware of it, he continued to raise money to continue searching on Mt. Ararat, a project which was his favorite. While he hasn't bothered to present any legitimate reasons refuting most of the evidence, (preferring to state simply that he has investigated it thoroughly 3 times), he DOES present an argument against some of the ballast material. After all, these specimens are some of the most incredible and important evidences, and to speak out against them requires an alternate explanation. He attacks the analysis of one particular specimen- the one which contains 84.14% manganese dioxide, stating simply that it is nothing but a "manganese nodule", something that is found all over the ocean floor and is therefore quite common.
  Let's look at that claim. First of all, this site isn't the ocean floor- it is 6,300 feet above it, and thousands of miles from the Pacific Ocean, which is where these nodules are commonly found. But let's not take that into consideration. Let's check into these "nodules" and see what characteristics they have. "...these manganese nodules contain as much as 2.5 percent copper, 2.0 percent nickel, 0.2 percent cobalt and 35 percent manganese. In some deposits, the content of cobalt and manganese is as high as 2.5 percent and 50 percent respectively. Such concentrations would be considered high-grade ores if found in land,..." "Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1985 ed., vol. 13", page 503, under subject heading "Oceans and Seas".
  OK, 50% manganese content, we have just read, is considered the highest percentage to be found in these nodules, as well as in land ores. The average is considered to be 35%. Yet, our analyses of these ballast specimens show 87%, 84% and 80%- far above what is found in these nodules. Also, the nodules contain cobalt and nickel, yet these are not present in the ballast specimens. In addition, there is the size to be considered- the nodules are stated to be an average of about 4 centimeters (slightly less than 2 inches)- yet some of THESE specimens are 10 inches in diameter and more. These factors, combined with the fact that the ballast specimens contain other elements NOT found in the manganese nodules is more than enough evidence to rule out that little theory.
  NOAH'S ARK
  In 1959, stereo photos where taken by a Turkish airline pilot of a boat shaped object on the mountains of Ararat for The Geodetic Institute of Turkey. Dr. Brandenburger of Ohio State University, USA, after studying the photographs concluded, "I have no doubt at all, that this object is a ship. In my entire career, I have never seen an object like this on a stereo photograph." Dr. Brandenburger was a photogrammetry expert who had discovered the missile bases in Cuba, during the Kennedy era.
  Ground penetrating radar proved the boat to have three decks, the top two decks had collapsed leaving the bottom deck intact which contained 144 rooms. Walls, cavities, a door near the front, ramps, and two large round 'tank shapes' near to the bow were also located. The radar scan revealed four protrusions extending from the stern that were probably stabilizers.
  With the use of four types of different metal detectors, thousands of metal rivets were found on the site. Iron was found at regular intervals which made up a pattern of horizontal and vertical lines 'criss-crossing' the boat, demonstrating iron at the levels of each bulkhead. Conventional science teaches that the iron age far precedes the time of the flood, but the Bible in Genesis 4:22 says, "Tubalcain, [was] an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron". Iron nodules were also found in about 5400 places, which show linear patterns consistent with the shape of the hull.
  In 1991, Greg Brewer, found a petrified antler in the side of the ark. As a result of a core drilling Ron found extinct rodent hair, petrified animal droppings and red human hair.All the expeditions have so far been to Mt. Ararat, but what does the Bible actually say about the resting place of Noah's Ark? Gen 8:4, "And the ark rested on the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. The Bible does not say the ark came to rest on Mt. Ararat, but on the mountain range of Ararat. That is exactly where we find this boat shaped object, it is located about fifteen miles south of Mt. Ararat.The names of the surrounding places are interestingly associated with the Biblical account of the flood. The valley is called 'The Valley of Eight', in reference to the eight survivors of the flood, Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives. A village in the valley translates to 'The Village of Eight', where several giant anchor stones can be found thousands of feet above sea level and hundreds of kilometers from the nearest sea. On the anchor stones there are carved Christian crosses from the crusader period, evidence that the crusaders also recognized the Christian significance of the anchor stones. There are thirteen of these anchor stones that all lie in direct line with the boat. So evidently, Noah cut them loose as the waters subsided and just before the ark came to rest.
  Near to this village is another smaller village with a name that translates to 'The Crow will not Stand'. Undoubtedly, referring to when Noah released a raven from the ark. Another village is called 'Where the Oars were Reversed', again suggesting that a boat once passed over this area, where it began to slow down to its final resting place. The Turkish government has also sent their own archaeological team, who recovered four intact metal rods, each about four foot long. These are now in the possession of the Ministry of Mines and Minerals, in Turkey. They have officially dedicated the site as a national park declaring it to be the remains of Noah's Ark!
  NOAH'S ARK - Reply to Ex-Nihilo Critic
  2) CLAIM THAT THE METAL READINGS WERE RANDOM, NOT REGULAR:
  Page 28 - The article states as fact that the metal readings were random, not regularly spaced: "Using a standard beachcombing type metal detector (the type with a disc shaped detector head on the end of a long pole) 'hotspots' were Indeed found, but these were randomly distributed and not In a regular pattern along lines." RESPONSE - In the above referenced CBN interviews in #1, the statement is made by the newscaster: "...Using a metal detector, Baumgardner has been able to confirm the existence of metal at regular Intervals."
  In the newspaper article, "Noah's Ark found?," the reporter writes of a speech John Baumgardner gave at Los Alamos National Labs: "Showing aerial slides which showed a striking boat-like shape, Baumgardner noted the Americans found an organized pattern of metal at the 6,300 foot elevation site with the aid of metal detectors. "Four Americans found an organized pattern of metal at the 6,300 foot elevation site with the aid of metal detectors. "For me, it was quite an amazing discovery to find the pattern of metal at, ' he continued."

  6) CLAIM THAT THE DECK TIMBER ISN'T VERIFIED:
  Page 31 - The claim is made that the deck timber has not been tested, etc. We have extensive testing done on this sample, most of which will remain confidential until we are finished working. However, we can positively prove that the lab tests prove it to contain organic carbon, and that it has been examined by thin section under electron microscope.
  RESPONSE - In our forthcoming video, will be seen testing on the deck timber at Galbraith Labs,—testing for total carbon, which includes both organic and inorganic, and then testing for only inorganic. The presence of organic carbon is proven by subtracting the total of inorganic carbon from the total carbon. The result is the amount of organic carbon. This test, which is only one of the numerous testing done on this deck timber, shows that there was .7019% organic carbon in the timber. The presence of any organic carbon proves the object was not a rock, but does contain once-living matter. (.71 00% total carbon less .0081% inorganic carbon = .7019% organic carbon)
  The timber was taken to Teledyne-Allvac labs where it was examined by electron microscope in 1992. I personally videoed the entire process, including the entire process with the electron microscope-—filming the screens as they were viewed. We have all of these results filed along with photographs of the thin sections, etc. We also have a very large number of witnesses as well, as Richard Rives of Matthews, NC accompanied us, and numerous personnel of Teledyne witnessed the work and are all on video.
  9) CLAIM THAT THE RIVET IS JUST "BASALT"
  PAGE 32- Claims are made to try to discredit the fossilized rivet found by Ron. They try to "explain" it as being basalt. RESPONSE - We will quote a part of a lab report from Teledyne-Alivac. The report includes a paragraph which is extremely important. Any questions relating to the work done at this lab will be answered when we release our data. As mentioned earlier, I personally videoed all work in progress, including their taking the samples to be tested, etc. This paragraph reads: "It Is interesting to note that location 1 (presumably fossilized timber members) was found to contain much higher carbon (1.9%) than location 2 (presumably fossilized metal)."
  The significance of this is: One sample was taken of the actual metal rivet. This section was tested twice and showed carbon content of .14% and .13%. Then, a mere cm. away, a sample was taken of the area around the metal impression. This showed carbon content of 1.88% and 1.97% in the two tests done on it. This shows that within a cm., we have an area that contains almost 15 times more carbon as 1 cm adjacent to it! Whether these folks want to admit it or not, this is as positive evidence as you can get that this fossilized object—whatever it is, even if a person wants to reject it being a rivet—this is evidence that it is 2 distinct structures. One with minute amounts of carbon in it, while right next to it, an object with 15 times more carbon in it—enough to have been once living matter.
  11) CLAIM THAT THE BALLAST IS JUST MANGANESE NODULES FROM THE SEA FLOOR:
  PAGE 33 - The claim is made that the manganese samples have never been examined by thin section: "However, no microscope thin section has been produced to show whether the samples collected and claimed to be slag do in fact have the internal texture and mineral composition of a true slag."
  RESPONSE - In fact this certainly has been done. We have in our possession photos and lab analyses which John Baumgardner had done at Los Alamos of numerous samples. One of these samples was of the ballast material. In his own handwriting, Dr. Baumgardner wrote on the report: "tailing of aluminum aloid production" and signed it "John Baumgardner, Los Alamos." He sent these reports to Ron and we have them on file.
  As to the claim by John Morris that these are simply manganese nodules, like those found on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, this can be easily disproved. First of all, these aren't on the Pacific floor! In one of our analyses, we have an 84% manganese content and in another, 87%. In the Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1985 ed., it states that manganese nodules found in the sea are normally about 35% manganese, with high concentrations being 50%! Also, those found on the ocean floor contain significant amounts of copper (2.5%). Our sample contains less than .03% copper.
  But the most significant evidence is the size—our sample is 7" by 10" with a depth of about 2 1/2 to 3". Those manganese nodules found on the sea floor average "slightly less than 2 inches in diameter."
  "Gopher Wood"
  The Aramaic root word for the Hebrew word "gopher wood" means laminated wood (this is when layers of wooden boards are glued together one upon the other to provide extra strength), and when these cuts were completed, it was plainly evident that at least this portion of the deck planking is laminated wood!
  The excess of the cementing substance (the "glue" used was resin, which was made from tree sap) was squeezed out the end of the plank, hardened and has remained in the fossilized form. Until this cut was made, it was merely assumed that the dripping material along the outer edge was the pitch placed on the outer surfaces of the deck timbers and the rest of the boat.
  DAVID FASOLD
  In early 1998, shortly before his death, Fasold again reaffirmed his belief that the Durupinar site was in fact the location of the ark and worked tirelessly to promote the Durupinar site on the internet.[2] Many observers, including Fasold and his friends, believed that people like Plimer and Collins had used Fasold's doubts to further their own agenda. In April 1998, David Fasold died of cancer in Corvallis, Oregon, financially broken from years of expeditions and research.
  INTRODUCTION
  Inpeering through Noah’s window, iced and fossilized, an attempt has been made herein to peek into it with (I) new expedition summaries, (II) a chronology of Chapters 7 and 8 of Genesis merging the three authors (doublets, J and P, and the redactor, R) with the Gilgamesh epic, both sources interspersed with relevant comments and recent theories, and (III) addenda of bibliographies.
  
  Using a metal detector and “frequency generator,” Samuel Windsor, a marine engineer, now living on Orcas Island, Washington state, independently verified in 1990 the regular spacing of the iron objects originally discovered by David Fasold in 1985. Windsor said: “The number and regularity of their apparent locations suggests fastening devices of some sort. My speculation is that the iron objects were metal binders used to grip and hold fast wound rope material used to assemble bundles of the ark’s constituent reeds. I think the use of logs and reeds (theory of David Fasold) rather than metal as a structure and shell was the desire to avoid electrical conductivity. My belief is that the ark builders had access to a technology including iron smelting, alloying for particular properties, i.e., nickel and other elements. These elements and their proportions struck me as similar to a cross between a modern martensitic steel alloy and a modern chrome-moly steel alloy.
  “Although the Hittites are credited with the discovery of iron smelting circa 1500 B.C.E, {in a}panel near the entrance of the Atatturk Museum in Ankara, Turkey, 30 feet to the left is a showcase containing a jeweled, gold handled dagger with an accompanying note indicating the blade shank is made of iron with a surface hardness of 400 on the Brinell scale. The note concludes ‘this hardness indicates the blade was carbonized in a heat-treatment process.’ My {Windsor’s}point in mentioning the dagger is not to suggest it was steel but to point out that the use of carbonizing hardening on this dagger shows the knowledge of this aspect of metallurgy predates the discovery of case hardening using nitrogen in the 8th century C.E.”
  David Fasold first suggested the ark may have been made of reeds, one of the hypotheses tested by Thor Heyderdahl. The recipe indicates that reeds must be cut only in August thereby maintaining a consistent resistance to moisture.

  By This Golden Ratio is used throughout the Ark's construction. Define y as its length, b as its maximum beam, m as the average beam width, d as its depth, and A as the circumscribed deck area (minus Moon Pool). M is the "deck area" of the Moon Pool and z & w is its length & width. Further, define MBP as the point along the length of the vessel where the maximum beam width occurs. Then MPB – S is the distance from this point to the stern and MPB – B is the distance to the bow. The MBP – S is the longest of these extensions (like a board protruding out of a structure), and thus the segment most susceptible to vibration. Windsor found the "phi" proportions in the Ark relic at least eight times.10 They have been reformulated in Table 13 to be linear in terms of phi because a linear relationship is thought to be fundamental to reducing vibrations in a vessel. Assume that the Ark's design criterion was to have the deck area of one acre and to take a 10,000" or 833' trough to crest non-broadside wave - at least one time (although Windsor has doubts about it surviving a high velocity tsunami).
  Phi is a natural number that defines the structure of an ocean wave (and how the Ark would "ride" one). Windsor believes that including phi in the design some way reduces resonate vibrations that would tend to destroy the vessel. Note that the above phi relationships all involve linear ratios that could define an imaginary plate. Phi has very interesting properties related to the modes of vibration in thin plate structures and the frequency mixing (heterodyning) of electro-magnetic wave- forms as follows:

  For a thin rectangular plate with free edges and using the standard equations of motion where the dimensions of the lengths of the edges are in the ratio (51/2+1)/2 = 1.618033989 (the golden ratio), the first two modes will occur at the same natural frequency (eigenvalue). The mode shapes (eigenvectors) will be very different however. One of the modes is the first bending mode and the other is the first twisting mode. Thus, a forced natural vibration induced in one mode will be shared, and damped, by the other mode.
  HETERODYNING AND POWERS OF PHI
  Take two frequencies, f1 = 1 unit, and f2 = a frequency that is Phi times larger, or f2 = 1.6180339 f1, and modulate them (nonlinearly mix them). The two new frequencies are the sum (2.6180339f) and the difference (0.6180339f) of the two frequencies. That is the same as Phi2f and Phi-1f. These powers of Phi are automatically generated whenever two frequencies that are related by a ratio equal to Phi are mixed or "heterodyned".
  Apparently when impulse energy is put into a thin plate of golden ratio dimensions, two separate vibration modes are stimulated. Any fastenings onto supporting structures (bulkhead members, etc.) will dampen this energy. Distributing energy naturally in two separate modes accentuates the dampening. This is why the phi constant was so extensively integrated in the Ark's design. It is a natural way to distribute impulse energy and limit the hull vibration that could damage the vessel.

  Hill discovered a flat iron plate about 26 cm (10.2") long, 8.6 cm (3.4") wide, with a thickness ranging from .4 cm (.2") to nearly zero. The plate weighs about 750g. Vyse proclaimed it to be "the oldest piece of wrought iron known." Hill affirmed that his find was legitimate:
  This is to certify, that the piece of iron found by me near the mouth of the air-passage, in the southern side of the Great Pyramid at Gizeh, on Friday, May 26th, was taken out by me from an inner joint, after having removed by blasting the two outer tiers of the stones of the present surface of the Pyramid; and that no joint or opening of any sort was connected with the above-mentioned joint, by which the iron could have been placed in it after the original building of the Pyramid.   That sheet iron was employed, we know, from the fragment found by Howard Vyse in the masonry of the south air channel, and though some doubt has been thrown on the piece, merely from its rarity, yet the vouchers for it are very precise, and it has a cast of a nummulite on the rust of it, proving it to have been buried for ages beside a block of nummulitic limestone, and therefore to be certainly ancient. No reasonable doubt can therefore exist about its being really a genuine piece used by the pyramid masons, and probably such pieces were required to prevent crowbars biting into the stones, and to ease the actions of the rollers.
  Now that Professor Petrie has discovered iron in deposits of VIth Dynasty date at Abydos, the contentions of those Egyptologists who have always maintained that iron was known to the Egyptians from the earliest times must be acknowledged to be correct. The fact that iron was known to, and used by, the Egyptians over 2,000 years before it came into use in Europe is very remarkable, and it is hard to square with current theories, but it is a fact. Professor Petrie's find is a lump of worked (?) iron, perhaps a wedge, which is rusted on to a bent piece of copper...
  We find in Egypt a piece of worked iron, to which a date of about 3500 B.C. is assigned on good primâ facie grounds, but because iron did not come into general use in Egypt till about 1300 B.C., and in southern Europe till about 1100 B.C., and because we do not possess another piece of iron of the same date, we admit that this early date must be regarded as still sub judice. We need corroboration. We afterwards find in Egypt a piece of iron, worked or unworked does not matter in the argument, which is assigned on incontestable grounds to a date of about 3200 B.C.

    The presence of sulfur in the ash is unmistakable. It occurs as small granules as well as large chunks, sometimes round, as large as an egg (often encased). These 'sulfur balls' are pale yellow, unlike normal sulfur that is clear yellow. Also, these balls are light and are easily crushed into powder when pressed. This type of Sulfur balls is very rare. Sulfur deposits often found near volcanic vents are usually in a deposited form. The ash found in the Sodom & Gomorrah sites is peculiar also. These sulfur balls are directly from the heavens, just as the Bible records. They are sulfur rich meteorites, possibly of the same type as those found in the 540 AD strike. There is no indication that they were rich in Iridium as are some meteorites.

    Again, these angels could be credited with advanced technology as well as an apparent knowledge of celestial mechanics as they hustled Lot and his family out of Sodom before the meteorites fell. The characteristics described seem to be those of extraterrestrial aliens trying to warn people in the Dead Sea basin of an impending celestial catastrophe.
